The director’s vision was clear: to craft a soundscape that immersed the audience in a world dominated by uncertainty and technological evolution. To achieve this, I relied on synthesizers as the core of the composition, providing a sonic palette that captured the essence of a near-future reality.
The music played a pivotal role in mirroring the protagonist's emotions—a blend of intrigue, unease, and wonder as he grappled with the implications of artificial intelligence overtaking creative human endeavors. Through carefully layered textures and evolving harmonic progressions, I aimed to reflect his inner conflict and the tension of the narrative. Pulsating bass lines and shimmering high-frequency tones added depth, embodying the duality of promise and peril inherent in technological advancement.
This work not only underscored the thematic elements of the story but also enhanced the storytelling by aligning with the protagonist’s journey. The final composition seamlessly blended with the visuals, amplifying the emotional impact of the scenes and reinforcing the unsettling yet captivating atmosphere the director envisioned. It was a rewarding challenge to translate such complex ideas into music and contribute to a cohesive and engaging cinematic experience.
